Any time you run Windows it uses integrated graphics to display the OS and the windows themselves. How do I make it use discrete graphics card (1660ti)? I'm aware there are settings in Windows allowing me to specify the preferred adapter for each program, but what about when it comes to the OS itself? Any time I disable the AMD integrated graphics in the device manager, the system swiches to "Windows basic display adapter", totally ignoring the nVidia card, unless I run a graphic editor or a game (in this case system uses the perfomance of the discrete graphics). How do I make the system video run on the discrete card? I failed to find the corresponding settings in BIOS.
