I have HP monitor 21.5 inch CWA22 connected to MacBook Pro mid-2012 on Catalina 12.15.7. When I am watching movies, Adaptive Brightness kicks in when full screen and it's too dark or the subtitles cause it to flicker constantly. I cannot find a way to turn this off. I did find an option in System Preferences, Displays, Built-in Display, Automatically adjust brightness, and it is turned off. I'm not sure how to stop this. Any ideas?
