well i bought a new hp omen 16 laptop and i cant ignore this yellowish tint on the screen or slightly yellowish screen. Is this common with other models or should i check if theres any issue?

Check to see if there is a hardware problem: Watch this video.
Tap the ESC key after powering on. Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
if the strange color shows up then it is a hardware problem and not a windows problem and you can get warranty service or just return the laptop.
