HP Reverb G2

I have HP reverb G2 that stop working with Mixed Reality (where an error code 7-7 was indicated). I restarted the computer several times and now...  Windows Mixed Reality does not recognized it (and say plug in your headset) through it is plugged into the USB C port and the 1.4 display port. Is there a quick simple reset procedure that can be used to get Windows Mixed Reality to recognized it (as being plugged in). Or, is the Reverb G2 unit junk at this point and time to put into the trash can. The unit is only about 6 months old.... is the warranty still effective?
