Hi comunity, I'm new here and I'm sorry if Ispeak enaglish no very well.

I bought a used notebook Hp envy 15-j108el and I read specs monitor is full HD

I formatted and install Win 10 and intall any driver downloaded by Hp site, but max resolution is 1366x768 and I expected it to be 1920x1080

How can I set max resolution full hd?

I hope You can help me

(1) Install BIOS

Why should you install the update ?

(2) Open windows <device manager> and uninstall nvidia graphics device driver below <display adapters>

(3) Install graphics driver (again)

NVIDIA Graphics Driver - Skylake

10.18.13.5324 Rev.A630.1 MBJul 21, 2015Download

 

(4) Uninstall <Generic PnP Monitor>

(4) Reboot !

(5) Test again ...

Thanks you  for reply. I did any step. 1)upgrade bios, 2) unistall Nvdia driver , 3)reinstall Nvdia driver 4) unistall Monitors 5)reboot , but I don't solve my question.

I see on vga device there are 2 vga

I did it too, i tried reinstall both vga reinstall  but max res is always 1366x768 :(((

(1) Go to Settings > System > Display

(2) Go to Display adapter properties

(3) On the Adapter tab, click List all modes

(4) Send me a screenshot of (3)

(5) Choose a desired resolution ( Full HD 32-bit color resolution )

(6) Save the changes and restart your computer

The settings you show me are those of the Intel graphics card, can you show me the settings of the NVIDIA graphics card ?

I can't show Nvdia cards, IT's like that system give priority on Intel vga cards. I disabled Intel graphic card, but i see now only "basic display driver"
