Hp envy x360 left hinge broke

Hello,

I've been using my HP ENVY X360 13 since 22/11/2020 and haven't had a problem till then. However , yesterday one of the hinge (left) broke. I was just closing it and heard heard a crack and i was not my fault as I've been keeping it with extreme care as it is quite expensive . I sought help from hp customer support but they said it will additionally cost me as its warranty has expired last year but i believe HP should cover the cost as it is a defect of poor quality hinges . 

I neither can afford such repair costs nor deserve to . So i request you to repair my devise .
