Hp graphic drivers problem

So I have an HP Pavilion Gaming 15 ecxxx laptop and I'm having problems with the video card. Whenever I try to play something, I end up with a white screen or a completely black screen, and to fix it I have to completely close the laptop and turn it back on. 

I already tried to do a clean reinstallation of the drivers using DDU with the most updated drivers but it didn't work. .

If the issue appears after a few minutes of gaming, overheating or a cooling fault is very plausible. Use msi afterburner and set CPU/GPU temps to monitor while gaming. Then check temps whole gaming and let me know

 The problem is that MSI doesn't display the information while I'm playing, and if I try to minimize the game and view MSI, the game simply crashes. I can't see anything; I have to turn off the laptop and turn it back on.

Did you setup msi afterburner correctly? You can get YouTube guide on this if still doesn't work then try using hwinfo (free version) for same purpose.

Isn't any stat which say "CPU temperature" only? Find and set it osd menu to monitor. Then play for 5mins, keep your eyes on temps and let me know where it stays most and peak temp.

Just for testing, to confirm if this is cause by high CPU temps. Disable CPU performance boost. It may or may not decrease fps depending on game and still reduces temps alot. Follow these steps, disable and play your games to test:

Steps to disable: 

• Click the Start menu and search for and open Edit power plan. 
• Click Change advanced power settings. 
• In the window that appears, expand Processor power management. 
• Find Processor performance boost mode and set it to Disabled on both battery and plugged in. 
• Click Apply and then OK to save your changes 
• Now, test
