HP Notebook - 15-dw0081wm

My sons laptop purchased brand new august of 2022(somehow the warranty expired in February of 2023 even though he hasn’t even owned it a year😡) was opened this morning. It worked yesterday, this morning the screen is blank and the caps lock key is blinking 5 times. We have tried several hard resets as well as windows +b. Is there anything else we should be attempting to get this pain of a laptop back working?
