I am trying to connect a HP Pavilion 14-dv0033no - i7 laptop (Windows 11) with a Dell P2419HC external monitor. I am using the USB C cable that was bundled with the monitor but when I connect it, the monitor shows "no signal" and it does not work. I tried with a HDMI cable with the same PC and it worked instantly. I have also tried with using a different laptop (HP Elitbook) witht he same USB C cable and then it also worked instantly.
I guess there is some issue with the new Pavilion laptop (or Win 11), but when I check the specifications it says the following:
"1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10 Gbit/s signalfrekvens (USB-ström, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge"
What could be the problem?

I can't find its specs.Hope it has same ports as the following machine
HP Pavilion Laptop 14-dv0058TU
which shows it has
1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port. Please try USB-C to DP cable (no conversion).
Regards.

Thank you for the reply!
The specifications can be found here: https://www.hp.com/se-sv/shop/product.aspx?id=2W6K9EA&opt=UUW&sel=NTB&lang=sv-SE&f=0
As for the USB C port it seems to be the same specifications as HP Pavilion Laptop 14-dv0058TU you mentioned.
If I would use a USB-C to DP cable I lose the opportunity to power the laptop, therefore I want to be able to use only a USB C cable if possible.
According to the specifications, the USB C port on the laptop has video output through display port protocol and power delivery so it should work by only using a USB C cable. Am I wrong?
