Microsoft Windows 11

I have been charging my hp pen new model for 3 days straight but it still doesn't turn into white light which would indicate that it has been charged fully.

It stays in the amber light even though I have been charging my hp pen for 3 days straight. Kindly help me with the issue.

Hi @2004karnika,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

It seems like your HP pen might be experiencing an issue with charging or battery status. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Check the Charger and Cable: Ensure that you're using the correct charger and cable for your HP pen. Try using a different cable or power adapter to see if the issue persists.

Inspect the Charging Port: Check the charging port on the pen for any debris or damage that might be preventing it from charging properly. Clean the port gently if necessary.

Reset the Pen: Some HP pens have a reset option. To reset, try holding down the top button for about 10-15 seconds. Then try charging it again.

Update Firmware or Drivers: Make sure your device's firmware or drivers are up to date. Connect the pen to your device and check if there are any updates available for the pen through your system settings or HP software.

Test the Battery: If possible, connect the pen to your device to see if it's recognized and can function without a full charge. This might help determine if the battery is faulty.

If none of the above steps work, the battery or internal components of the pen might be faulty. Contact HP support for a possible replacement or repair.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
