Hi @Arushij,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your stylus pen!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Battery: Ensure the stylus has a charged battery. If the stylus uses replaceable batteries, open the battery compartment and check that they are correctly installed.
Reconnect Stylus:
- Bluetooth Connection: If your stylus requires Bluetooth pairing, ensure your device Bluetooth is turned on and properly paired with your stylus. You can find Bluetooth settings in your device's Settings menu.
- USB Connection: Some models might require a direct USB connection. Check for any available ports and ensure the stylus is securely connected.
Restart Device: Sometimes, simply restarting your device can resolve connection issues.
Update Drivers: Ensure your device drivers are up to date. You can often find updated drivers on the HP Support website.
Reset Stylus:
- For Buttoned Stylus: Hold down any buttons the stylus might have for a few seconds to perform a reset.
- For Button-less Stylus: Refer to the specific model's manual for reset instructions, as each stylus can have different methods.
Usage Instructions:
To use the HP Stylus, follow these steps:
Stylus Activation:
- Touch Activation: Tap the stylus against the screen to activate. Your device should automatically recognize the stylus.
- Button Activation: If your stylus includes buttons, press and hold the button(s) as instructed in the user manual.
Using the Stylus:
- Drawing: Open any compatible application (such as OneNote or Windows Ink Workspace). You can start drawing or writing directly on the screen.
- Navigating: Use the stylus to navigate through menus and interact with icons as you would with a mouse or touchpad.
- Additional Features: Some styluses include additional features like pressure sensitivity for artistic applications. Experiment in various apps to discover additional functionality.
I hope this helps.
