Open Control Panel:
- Press the Windows key and type Control Panel, then hit Enter.

Go to Touchpad Settings:
- If you have a tab labeled Touchpad, click on it (this may vary based on your touchpad driver).

Disable the Feature:
- Uncheck the box next to Tap to Click or disable it from the settings.
Apply Changes:
- Click Apply and then OK to save the changes.
Method 3: Using Synaptics or ELAN Settings (if applicable)

- Apply the changes and exit the settings.
Note : If you don’t see the options as described, ensure your touchpad drivers are up to date. You can do this through the HP Support website thats is https://support.hp.com/hk-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16 or Windows Update.
