Hi @Manogari2003,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing a pink screen issue with your HP laptop, which can be caused by several factors, including graphics driver problems or overheating. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.
Disconnect Peripherals: Shut down your laptop and disconnect all external devices (like USB drives, external monitors, etc.). Sometimes, faulty connections can lead to display issues. After disconnecting everything, restart your laptop and see if the problem persists
Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers are often a leading cause of display issues. To update your drivers:
- Press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Display adapters section.
- Right-click on your graphics card and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for drivers and follow the prompts to update.
Rollback Drivers: If you recently updated your graphics driver and the pink screen issue began afterward, consider rolling back to the previous version:
- In Device Manager, right-click on your graphics card and select Properties.
- Go to the Driver tab and click Roll Back Driver if the option is available.
Check for Overheating: Overheating can also cause display problems. Ensure your laptop is well-ventilated and clean any dust from vents. You might also want to monitor your system temperatures using software tools
Perform a Hard Reset: Sometimes a hard reset can help clear temporary glitches:
- Turn off your laptop, disconnect the power adapter, and remove the battery (if removable).
- Hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Reconnect everything and power it back on.
Use HP Hardware Diagnostics: HP provides built-in hardware diagnostics that can help identify issues with your laptop. You can access this tool during boot by pressing F2 or Esc followed by F2 to run a system test.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
