Product: HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0047nl
Greetings...
I'm having trouble connecting an external display (HP 27es) to Laptop (HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0xxx) running Windows 11 via HDMI cable.
What I've already tried to do:
- change cable (doesn't work)
- change screen (I tried to connect the Laptop to the TV and it doesn't work...)
- change Laptop (I tried connecting another Laptop (with Windows 10) to the external screen and IT WORKS)
- change the input settings of the external display
- change the screen refresh rate
When I connect the external screen (HP 27es) to the Laptop (HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0xxx) the screen turns on and shows:
HDMI 1 inactive
HDMI 2 inactive
with a subsequent error message:
"Entry signal not found"
"Check the video cable and video source."
"Display sleeping" (and then turns off again)
However, if I connect the external screen and go to "Device Management" --> "Monitor" --> it appears:
- Generic Monitor (HP 27es)
- Integrated Monitor
so it means that the screen is recognized...
Furthermore, if I go to "Settings" --> "System" --> "Display" --> "Advanced display settings" and select the various displays I see some differences:
- if I select screen 1 "Internal screen", it tells me: connected to Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630
- if I select screen 2 "HP 27es", it tells me: connected to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
I appreciate your commitment to service.
A thousand thanks
