Hi @Imunish567,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering some display issues after changing the refresh rate on your HP laptop. Let's troubleshoot this step by step.

  • Restart your laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve display issues.
  • Boot into Safe Mode: Boot your laptop into Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. If the display works fine in Safe Mode, it's likely a software or driver-related problem.
  • Check graphics drivers: Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause display problems.
  • Revert to default settings: If you can't see anything on your screen, try booting into Safe Mode again and revert the refresh rate back to its default setting (usually 60Hz).
  • Check cable connections: If you're using an external monitor, ensure all cable connections are secure.
  • Hardware diagnostics: If none of the above steps work, it's possible there's a hardware issue with your laptop's display or graphics card.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
