Hi @Deepside ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're facing an issue with zooming in and out on your HP Pavilion Plus laptop with the HP Wide Vision 5MP Camera. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the problem:

1. Camera App Settings:

  • Open the camera app on your laptop.
  • Look for any zoom controls within the camera app itself.
  • Some camera applications have a zoom slider or buttons that allow you to zoom in and out. Check for such options.

2. Zoom Settings in Other Apps:

  • If you're using the camera in other applications (like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.), check the settings within those applications for camera zoom options.
  • These applications often have their own camera settings that can affect zoom levels.

3. Camera Driver Update:

  • Ensure that your camera drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to the HP website, finding the support section for your laptop model, and downloading the latest camera drivers.

4. Windows Settings:

  • Open the Windows Settings app.
  • Go to "Devices" and then "Camera."
  • Check if there are any zoom-related settings that can be adjusted.

5. Device Manager:

  • Open the Device Manager on your laptop.
  • Locate the camera device, right-click, and choose "Update driver."
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to update the camera driver.

6. Check for Camera Software:

  • Sometimes, laptops come with additional camera software from the manufacturer. Check for any such software and see if it has zoom controls.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi @Gaya1239,

I don't find any zoom controls by opening the camera app settings ... that's why I created this post.

Your answer does not solve anything.
