I cannot disable the touchpad
11-29-2020 08:55 PM

I am trying to disable the touchpad, I have a wireless mouse...double tapping touchpad doesn't work...went to settings, touchpad, additional settings and there are no options for the touchpad, only options for the mouse...checked on available updates, all drivers are current...tried using windows key + X to access control panel, there is no control panel on the list...pulled up Keyboard and Mouse drivers, there were 14 to choose from so I didn't want to take a guess on which one might help...any suggestions??? Thank you.

You seem to be able to download this "synaptic touchpad driver", in addition, you can try to disable its sub-options one by one under the "mouse" option of the device manager to see if it works.
