@Shivam_011, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It sounds like your HP Victus is running into an issue where PUBG causes a black screen but keeps the audio running. A couple of questions to start:

Does this issue happen only with PUBG, or does it occur with other games or apps as well?

Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help resolve the issue:

Force Restart

Since holding the power button didn’t work, try this:

Disconnect any external devices (mouse, keyboard, USB drives).

Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds until the laptop powers off completely.

After the laptop shuts down, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

Update Graphics Drivers

Outdated or corrupt graphics drivers can cause display issues. You can update your drivers by following these steps:

Go to Device Manager (right-click on Start menu and select it).

Expand Display adapters and right-click on your graphics driver (e.g., NVIDIA or Intel).

Select Update driver and choose Search automatically for updated driver software.

Restart your laptop if a new driver is installed.

Check for Windows Updates

Sometimes, system updates include fixes for display-related issues:

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, then click Check for updates.

Check the Game Files

If the issue only occurs with PUBG, try verifying the game files through Steam:

Open Steam > Library.

Right-click on PUBG > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files.

Disable Full-Screen Optimizations

Some games have compatibility issues with full-screen mode in Windows:

Right-click on the PUBG executable file (usually found in the game folder).

Select Properties > Compatibility.

Check Disable fullscreen optimizations and click Apply.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
