Hi @Saurabh080401,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP 15s laptop turning on with a white light but the display not working!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Power Cycle:

  • Disconnect any external devices.
  • Turn off the laptop, unplug it from the power source, and remove the battery (if removable).
  • Hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Reconnect the battery, plug in the power adapter, and turn on the laptop.

External Monitor:

  • Connect the laptop to an external monitor to check if the issue is with the internal display.
  • If the external monitor displays correctly, it could indicate a problem with the laptop screen or its connections.

Brightness Settings:

  • Increase the screen brightness using the function keys.

Hard Reset:

  • Perform a hard reset: Turn off the laptop, unplug the power source, press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds, then reconnect the power source and battery, and turn it on.

Check for Loose Connections:

  • Inspect the laptop's internal connections, especially the display cables, if you are comfortable opening the laptop. Ensure all cables are securely connected.

Reset BIOS:

  • Turn off the laptop, press the power button and immediately press F10 to enter BIOS setup.
  • If the display works in BIOS, you might need to reset BIOS settings to default.

Perform BIOS Recovery:

  • Turn off the laptop and hold the Windows + B keys, then press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds, release the power button while continuing to hold the Windows + B keys until the BIOS Recovery screen appears.

I hope this helps.
