Product: HP VH240a Monitor

Can't seem to get the VGA setting on an HP VH240a MOnitor set. Trying to use a M/M VGA cable to VGA to USB adaptor. I believe the connectivity is good, but can't get the monitor to set VGA input!!

Your monitor has TWO inut ports (VGA and HDMI). Its specs
