HP Probook 450 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The fingerprint sensor on my HP Probook 450 G7 is not working at all. In the Windows Hello fingerprint settings, under sign-in-options, it says "this option is currently unavailable". Its evident that my PC has fingerprint sensor on it, then we doesn't it work? Why Windows Hello Fingerprint doesn't work? Is there any alternative way of using the fingerprint sensor of "HP Probook 450 G7"? Please help me if anybody experienced such situations and were able to resolve the issue!

HP Probook 450 G7 series has many different models/products with many different configurations/options. Manual

As you can see on page 13, item 4 Finger print sensor is an OPTION. Did you buy this option for your machine ? If not, your machine only has a small window but no sensor underneath.

If you wish, you can buy parts (4) on page 18 and install to your machine.

Regards.
