Hello everyone!
I have the problem that my screen flickers with this. I updated all the drivers through the hp site that updatea everything at once, and I updated Nvidia through their application itself to the latest one. Its not like this happens every time I play a game, but it could happen everyday at least 1x until I reboot. When I play like 5 lol games and I end up in loading screen, this comes into the screen.
What I do to cancel it is alt + tab a few times and it's gone after multiple times only.
Also, after a while during gaming I get fps drops too. Like I go from 100% smooth to random frame drops after a few hours.
I also noticed for the first time in maybe a month of using the laptop a sound stutter. Like the sound would have random 'weird sounding' spikes. I cant explain it well because I cant exactly remember the sound of it. But it was like they still finished their words but it sounded off in between. Like it came from somewhere else from my laptop for just a lag spike of moment and in frequent rates behind one moment to the other. Maybe 3x per sentence.

Hi@Artaleas, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Apologize for the issue with the display. We understand it's a gaming notebook lets try a few troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.
BIOS downgrade is not an option?
Tried Adding the game to High performances in the Nivida control panel?
Download GEFORCE EXPERIENCE updates the gaming drivers.
Turn on Game Mode. Game Mode is a new feature in Windows 10 Update that improves gaming performance by limiting background processes and programs from using system resources while a game is running.
Press the Windows key and G to open the Game bar.
In the game bar, click Settings.
Click the check box next to the game title to enable Game Mode for that game.
Plug notebook PCs into an AC adapter to give the graphics card more power.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
Have a great day!

Hello Praveen!
Thank you for your answer and information.
The game is on high performance in the Nvidia control panel.
The geforce experience drivers are updated.
I wanted to try the game mode, but when I went to the settings I couldn't use a check box to enable game mode for the game. The settings did however notice that I was playing Warframe.
I know about the difference between adaptor plugged in and out, the moment I had my screen problem, the laptop was plugged in.
I havent tried downgrading the bios yet, I will have to try that first and see if it works.
I will keep you updated when I tried it to see if the problem occurs again.
