HP Pavilion 17-e072sr
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I recently reinstalled windows 7 on my laptop and now I can't run any video games and the aero theme isn't working, when I used troubleshoot it said to update video card drivers. Now I downloaded Intel chipset drivers and installed it, it didn't help the case nor does it appear in the list of installed programs even though the installation was successful.

Please help me because I am not an IT guy by any means.

Hi:

First install the Intel graphics driver and restart the PC.

This package provides the driver that enables the IntelHigh-Definition (HD) Graphics in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. If high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) video output is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

Then install the AMD graphics driver and restart the PC.

This package provides the AMD High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driverand Catalyst Control Center for supported notebook models that arerunning a supported operating system. For notebooks with switchablegraphics modes, this package includes drivers for both graphicsprocessing units (GPUs). Switchable graphics enable users to switchbetween a power-saving graphics mode (normally used under batterypower) and a high-performance graphics mode.

I think you also have to install Net Framework 4.0 for the switchable graphics to work correctly, so you may want to install that first.
