My HP PC is a HP Pavillion Desktop 590-p0xx, I currently use 1 Acer monitor and would like to know if I can use 2 monitors. Any help would be appreciated!

What is your Desktop 590-p0xx machine ? For example

             HP Pavilion 590-p0063a

I believe your machine uses SAME motherboard with the following ports at its back

Lincs Back I/O ports
  • (1) VGA port
  • (1) HDMI 1.4/HDCP 2.2
  • (1) USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port
  • (5) USB 2.0 Type-A ports
  • (3) Audio ports
  • (1) RJ-45 port

You can connect 2 monitors to your machine:

  • Monitor 1: VGA port, using only native VGA to VGA cable (no conversion)
  • Monitor 2:  HDMI 1.4/HDCP 2.2 using HDMI to HDMI cable

Regards.

Hi,

Yes, as @banhien says the exact model number is important so we can see what kind of ports are available.

If you need extra monitors you could probably put a cheap graphics card in it ans get some more ports.

Hope it helps,

David
