Hi @MR_Martialarts,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • Did the camera ever work properly after upgrading to Windows 11 25H2, or did the issue start immediately after the update?
  • Do you see the camera listed under Device Manager → Imaging Devices or Cameras, and if so, does it show any warning symbol?
  • Have you tried uninstalling the camera driver and letting Windows reinstall it automatically?

 Suggested Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check Camera Privacy Settings
    • Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.
    • Ensure that camera access is enabled for apps like Camera, Teams, Zoom, etc.
  2. Update or Reinstall Drivers
    • Open Device Manager.
    • Locate the HP Wide Vision HD Camera.
    • Right-click → Uninstall device. Restart your laptop and let Windows reinstall the driver.
    • If it doesn’t reinstall correctly, try downloading the driver from HP Support for your Victus 15-fb0000 model (even if listed under Windows 10, it often works with Windows 11).
  3. Run Windows Troubleshooter
    • Go to Settings → System → Troubleshoot → Other troubleshooters.
    • Run the Camera troubleshooter to detect and fix issues automatically.
  4. BIOS Update & Reset
    • Ensure your BIOS is updated to the latest version from HP Support.
    • Reset BIOS to default settings to clear any hardware recognition conflicts.
  5. Check Windows Updates
  • Sometimes optional updates contain fixes for drivers. Go to Settings → Windows Update → Advanced options → Optional updates and see if a camera driver update is available.

I hope this helps.
