It's been quiet on here lately -
Showtime's website has changed a bit, and now I am experiencing more erratic behavior of the streaming video -
Anyone else, seeing this issue affecting other, than gaming?

Interesting. I looked at the other HP blog posts and notice a quick response from the HP help people. Their responses to questions show me the issue in this blog is something they are trying to avoid because they dont have any answers.
The same questions are posted on the Intel site and the same there, no help
I did try suggestions and some made it worse and some had no affect on the problem.
Sooooooo the search continues.

Its a compatability issue with windows 10 and the graphics drivers so whenever graphics drivers are in use issues can occur, I had the drivers stop and recover when browsing the web. I turned the hardware accelleration off within the browser and that sorted the issue as far as browsing is consernd. I got updates yesterday so I've turned hardware accelleration back on to see what happens, fingers crossed.

I wouldn't, no driver software is going to solve a compatabiity issue and some software like this contain nasty PUP's.... Don't worry windows will sort it in an update, all we can do is wait for windows to push an update.

After Microsoft Update KB3124262 on 1/27, for the next two weeks I did not experience
the problem. I even reset all the changes back to their default.
Yesterday Microsoft installed Update KB3135173 and today the problem is back.
Previously Microsoft did not detail what the Update was 'fixing'.
With this new update they did provide a list of "some key improvements" included
in the update although none listed should have impacted the HD 4600.

At this point I agree that it is up to Microsoft to provide an update to Windows 10,
however long that may take.

Hi everyone, I registered to the forum just to post this; I was able to fix this issue on my notebook bhy installing the latest intell drivers - but I had to force windows to install it:
1. Download the latest driver from intel (currently, this link: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25489/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen- )
2. Try to install using the installer, if it works, good for you, stop here; for me, it said that it wasn't going to install over OEM drivers and that I had to wait for HP to release the drivers...
3. Decompress the drivers to a folder (winrar can decompress the .exe installer - install winrar with context menu, then right-click the .exe installer and decompress)
4. Open device manager (as an admin user right-click windows logo, device manager)
5. Navigate to your intell graphics card, right-click, "Update driver software"
6. Select "Browse my computer for driver software"
7. Select "Let me pick from a list of devices on my computer"
8. Click the button "Have disk..."
9. Click the button "Browse"
10. Navigate to the folder where you decompressed the driver package and then into the "graphics" folder and pick the .inf file that's in there, click OK and next there should be a screen with just your intel graphics card listed and already checked.. click next and follow the next screens to instal the drivers...
11. Enjoy updated, non-crashing graphics drivers
Anyway... That's all I registered for... Hope it helps!

Thanks LFLFM for sharing your success...
AlanL, Tsac, Giblet, thoughts about the most recent post? Are we aware of any failures, or tries with this driver??
A bit sceptical since it has been released for quite awhile, and the intel update program is not recognizing it, well at least on my machine - will look into this when I get home.
