HP Support Assistant says I need to update the Intel HD Graphics Driver.

I go to download and install it and get a message that driver I am trying to install is older the current driver installed.

Should I go ahead?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you have an HP Pavillion Notebook. I read that the HP Support Assistant suggests to update the Intel HD Graphics Driver. When you try to download and install it, there's a message that the driver you're trying to install is older than the current driver. Not worry, I'll do my best to help you. You've done a remarkable job performing the steps.

You may download and use the Intel® Driver Update Utility. This will scan the laptop for any missing drivers or updates and will install them for you.

Alternately, you could simply download and install the Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10 from this link

Jope this helps. Let me know the outcome. All the best! 🙂
