My internal display is shown as not compatible with HDCP by the Intel Graphics Command Center.
Anyone know what to do? I have no idea what I could do to fix this.
Environment:
- HP ZBook Firefly 15 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC (1G3U8AV)
- Windows 11
- BIOS: T76 Ver. 01.08.20 - 03/11/2022
- Intel GPU Driver automatically installed by Windows Update
- Laptop partially managed by my company's Intune
- BIOS PW set
- sp136847.exe from HP's Driver website can't be installed as it always fails with a "Cab can't be extracted" and extracting with 7zip shows a checksum mismatch and install still fails
I tried:
- Complete re-install of Windows 11 & let Windows install all the Drivers
- Using the Intel GPU driver from the Intel website (clean install, first uninstalled old driver, rebooted, installed new driver) -> No Change
- Reset BIOS settings to factory defaults -> No Change

Hi, this document should help you understand more about HDCP so you can have an idea of the challenge you are facing.
https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/tech-takes/what-is-hdcp
HDCP stands for High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection. It’s a coding scheme developed by Intel used to protect audio and video signals traveling through DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort from being copied and illegally intercepted during a streaming session. It shields the transfer of digital content from a video source like a computer or DVD player to a receiver like a monitor or TV screen.

Thanks for the link but I'm already past turning it off and on again and updating the system. I've tired all that and even re-installed Windows 11, tried installing the Intel provided GPU driver (which didn't help and got overwritten as soon as I went online again with the driver provided by Windows Update) except for the driver from HPs website as that file is corrupt/damaged.
I also can't "check my devices and cables" as it's in regard to the internal monitor of my laptop.
