OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0001nt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have this HP OMEN 15-ek0001nt, with RTX 2060 and i5 10300H. In product specs it says it has Thuderbolt 3 and DisplayPort 1.4 via usb-c port; however, I am going to use the mini DisplayPort, not the usb-c port. Is that port also supports DP 1.4 or is it DP 1.2 as its mini DP?

Hi Emek51

Correct according to your laptop's manual, or the mini DisplayPort of your HP OMEN 15-ek0001nt if it is compatible with mini DisplayPort 1.4.

You can check it at:

I hope this information is helpful!

I am sorry, I couldn't find where exactly it says the mini DP is 1.4. Could you please point out the page or a screenshot maybe?
