Hello,
I would like to connect VR VIVE PRO to my OMEN 15-ce0xx but OMEN don't have Thunderbolt port, so trying to use reduction from mini Thunderbolt to USB-C. Without success.
According to VIVE PRO spec GTX 1050 meets the requirements, but Im not sure if it is connected to USB-C port.
How to connect VIVE to this NVIDIA GTX graphics card (dont work via HDMI) - ?
All drivers and windows updated.
Using this reduction - "USB-C output, DiplayPort input, audio and video transfer rate up to 80 Gb/s (8K/60Hz), resolution up to UltraHD 4K@50Hz/60Hz (2160p), Thunderbolt 3 support."
(sorry for my English).
Thank you very much.

What is your OMEN 15-ce0xx ? For example
No, you can't use USB-C port (with or without adapter) to connect to it get higher than 5 Gb/s. In short, no option for you to get an eGPU.
By the way, HDMI port on my Omen machine is connect to dedicated GPU as shown:
Regards.
