Product: HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ew1000 (794C0AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
When I first purchased this HP (microsoft edge) all the web sites loaded correctly, then about a week after I had it they suddenly quit loading completely, Lines, colors, buttons would be missing and some buttons would not work at all. I downloaded Chrome and the same thing occurred. I don't know why, and HP wants to send me to a pay for help site?

The new Edge browser is based on Chrome, so I would expect both of them to have similar, if not the same, issues.
You should try something very different -- like Vivaldi or Opera -- so see if those have the same issues.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
