Product: HP Envy 13''
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an old monitor with VGA  plug  and  my   computer  has only  2  normal USB ports and   one USB-C port. I know the USB-C is the one  destinated  to   conect an external monitor  but I already have a   VGA to USB 3.0 adapter and  I would like to use it.

Hi,

Have you tried connecting the monitor to the port with the adapter?

I believe the drivers should install automatically if connected to the internet (might take a few minutes)

I tried but nothing happened, syste recognize that something is plugged but it   doesn't recognize it is a monitor
