HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (1A3Y0AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I can connect either of the monitors to the laptop and extend displays via the HDMI cable - this is working fine.  As I only have one HDMI port on laptop I'm not sure how to then connect the second external display.  I thought I could connect the screen using the usb-c port on laptop (I have a HDMI to USB-C cable) but when I plug in this way the screen is not detected.  Can someone please help me with this issue so I can use two external monitors and the laptop screen (so three screens in total)

Thank you

Hi @Dot1977
Welcome to HP Support Community. This is a great place to post questions and find answers.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing issues with connecting the 2nd external monitor to your HP Laptop PC 15-Dw3000 (1A3Y0AV).

You can connect only one external monitor to this unit as the USB-c port is for data transfer only and not for video.

You may also check page 11 of this User Manual.

I hope this answers your query.
Take care and have a good day.
