Product: HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-ch1000 IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I would like to disable the functionality of the hard click on the touchpad. It's a particular issue when I am using my laptop on my lap. The click randomly happens due to pressure on the chassis from it sitting on my lap. When that happens, it's stuck in a click mode and I have to click it again to get it to stop. This frequently becomes a vicious cycle as every move I make causes another click.
I've tried disabling click lock but that doesn't seem to have any effect on it. I never click the touchpad intentionally as I have all of the "click" functions that I need/use programmed in the touchpad settings.
Thanks.
Matt
