I have had a minor problem with my screen since i bought it, 1/4 of the screen covering a rectangular vertical part of the screen has had a different brightness/saturation in color compared with the rest of my screen.
Now i also have some what I think might be a kind of stuck pixels on my screen, they are grayish spots with an bricklayer type texture under it.
The question now is, will this be covered by the warranty?

@ferd6, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Screen Issues on Victus by HP 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
For the screen problems you are experiencing with your Victus by HP 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop, it sounds like you may have issues related to pixel defects or screen calibration. Here are a few steps you could take to address these problems:
Screen Calibration:
- Search for color calibration settings in Windows 11 by typing "Calibrate display color" in the search bar and following the on-screen instructions to adjust the appearance of your display.
Check for Stuck Pixels:
- You can try using online tools or applications designed to fix stuck pixels. These tools rapidly change colors on the defective area, which can sometimes revive stuck pixels.
Update Graphics Drivers:
- Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to the Device Manager, locating your display adapter, right-clicking on it, and selecting "Update driver".
Physical Inspection:
- Inspect the screen carefully to ensure there is no physical damage that might be causing the issue. This can include inspecting for cracks or pressure marks.
Run HP Diagnostics:
- Use HP's built-in diagnostic tools. Restart your laptop and press the "Esc" key during booting, followed by "F2". Run the "Component Tests" for your display to see if any issues are detected.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
