Microsoft Windows 11

Hello. I work for from home having issues connecting 2 monitors same brand PHILIPS 22 inch Class Thin Full HD (1920 x 1080) Monitor, 100Hz Refresh Rate, VESA, HDMI x1, VGA x1 to my HP Laptop 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) ¡3-1115G4 @
3.00GHz 2.90 GHz. Only one monitor work using hdmi to laptop hdmi port as this is the only hdmi port available. I’ve tried to use
USB C to Dual HDMI Adapter,7 in 1 USB C Docking Station. This does not work. I also tried USB to VGA Adapter for Monitor. This didn’t work either. I need help getting both monitors on my lap top connected. As my monitors only have power, hdmi, and dsub connector only on the back.

You did not mention the laptop model.

Only laptops with Thunderbolt type USB-C transmit video.

Does your laptop have a Display Port or Thunderbolt port in addition to the HDMI?

If not then you need a USB2/3 to HDMI adapter. These type of cable/adapters require a driver to be installed.

Please read reviews of the adapter before buying.  These are not plug and play and often the driver must be downloaded.

if the driver must be downloaded it is likely to have advertisements and other unwanted applications.

You could also attach a WIFI adapter to the monitor and project a second or third screen to the monitor from the laptop.

You will need a wireless display adapter dongle such as ROKU
