Hi @MAYANDKUMAR, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing a couple of different issues:
- Keyboard not responding properly – You need to press keys multiple times before they register.
- Black screen in the right-side corner – This could be a graphical issue or a software bug.
Try these solutions:
1. Restart Your Laptop
A simple restart can sometimes fix temporary issues.
2. Check for Stuck Keys or Dust
- Clean the keyboard using compressed air or a soft brush.
- Try an external USB keyboard. If it works fine, the issue might be with your laptop’s keyboard hardware.
3. Update/Reinstall Keyboard Drivers
- Press Win + X → Device Manager
- Expand Keyboards
- Right-click your keyboard driver → Update driver
- If that doesn’t work, right-click → Uninstall device and restart your laptop.
4. Check for Graphics Driver Issues (Black Screen Issue)
- Press Win + X → Device Manager
- Expand Display adapters
- Right-click your graphics driver (Intel/NVIDIA/AMD) → Update driver
- If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the driver from the manufacturer’s website.
5. Check for Windows Updates
- Go to Settings → Update & Security → Windows Update
- Install any pending updates.
6. Perform a System File Check
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator
- Type: sfc /scannow
- Wait for the process to complete and restart your PC.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
