HP EliteBook 840 G7 Notebook PC (8QA00AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a KVM to setup to switch between home desktop and work laptop. On the home desktop, both monitors can be detected just fine. On the work laptop, it was working occasionally. But, in the last week, it just stopped detecting the second monitor altogether. The work laptop is an HP EliteBook 840 G7. What I mean by occasionally working, is that previously sometimes when I switch to the work laptop the 2nd monitor did not work, I would unplug everything and re-plug several times until it started working. But, this "trick" does not work anymore. When I switch to the work laptop, the kvm only detects one monitor, nothing displays on the second monitor. When I checked the display settings, I can see two monitors in the "rearrange your displays screen". I tried extending the displays, still nothing.

Additionally, to debug, I have also removed the laptop from the KVM altogether and directly plugged both monitors in via the HDMI port and a USB-C port. The second monitor did not display anything. Although, when checking the display settings, I can see two monitors in the "rearrange your displays screen". I tried extending the displays, still nothing.
