Keyboard backlight not working

Product: HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had my laptop for about 3 years and just recently I can no longer turn the keyboard backlight on anymore. I have tried everything I could with updates, but nothing has worked. I'm sure I have to have to send it in to have it fixed, but I was wondering how much that would probably cost before I go ahead and do that.

Since your computer is out of warranty and you don’t know what exactly caused the keyboard backlight to fail to work normally, there is no way to tell you how much it will cost.
