OMEN by HP Laptop 15-dc0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings!

My keyboard backlights changed their hue some days ago. The keyboard was bright purple before and now only the right side has the right colour, having the middle and the left side in a darker colour than the one settled in the OMEN Command Center.

I tried to turn it off and turn it on again but it didn't solve the problem.

Also tried to change the colour to full white lightning and the right side was in bright white while the middle and left side were in a yellowish green tone instead of white.

This laptop has only 3 months so I would really appreciate if anyone could help!

Thanks!Ns6yR0pT-2.jpg

How many colors do you get at the same time ? Does it look like the following image ?

You can actually change colors or it will come up randomly. Please use Omen Command Center to change. Note: You can change with manchies which have 4 colors as above.

Regards.

Yes, I have the default of 4 colours but my problem is that instead of having the colours shinning brightly, the red and orange are correct while the purple looks a lot more dark than before and the blue is now more greenish and dark as if the lights from the middle and right side have become dimmed.

And when I change all the colours (eg. all blue) the red and orange (left) change to blue while the purple and blue (middle and right side) change to a dimmed greenish blue instead of being bright with the same colour as the left side.
