Hi @jorthodoc
Welcome to the HP forum!
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post serial numbers and case details.
If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, this post has instructions.

Hi @jorthodoc,
Thank you for your reply.
Due to the US holidays I would give it a couple more days. If you still have not heard anything, post back and I will re-escalate the issue.

I called HP support and explained my situation. I am hopefully going to hear back from a case manager this afternoon as to possible remedies. They reviewed your post and it was helpful in my case. I thank you and will post back with the result.

I've had the exactly the same problem with my HP Pavilion purchased in September, I sent it back to Knowhow as I purchased it from PC World but thet say its not covered in manufacturers warranty.
Could someone from HP please provide me with details as to why so many laptops are reporting this issue and how I get mine replaced or repaired.

As a followup to issues with screen leakage on two identical HP Spectre 13 laptops I can attest to the fact the HP (only after finding the right person) was incredibly timely, proficient and fair in settlement of the defective products. Kudos to Sparkles 1 for puting me in touch with Hugo who got the job done and restoring my faith in a company where here to fore was less than responcive.

Hi @AndyMcK,
Thank you for the query.
I grasp that you also are experiencing the display leaking.

I am also facing the same problem in a day or 2 HP is going to send someone to chek it . on online support they are saying that the chances of replacement are less as per their policys , although there is not a single scratch mark on the Screen.
At the time of extending warrnty they won't clear everthing and from somewhere they make these policys and we the Customers have to Suffer .
