A couple of months ago the display of my laptop - HP Pavilion 15-dp0094ur model - started flickering, freezing, and glimmering in certain positions of the laptop cover. It's getting worse every day and now the display matrix only correctly works in very specific position of the laptop cover and requires some external binding.
I thought the problem could be with the cable, but after taking diagnostics in local service , was clear the problem is not with the cable but with the display itself, which is -was said - as well quite typical for this model, and the display needs to be replaced.
The questions are -
1. can I use an official service to get it replaced within the product guarantee (laptop in use for, I think, about 3-4 years maybe?) --edit. closed It shows here by S/N that factory warranty has expired.
2. Is it possible in non-official service, to install some IPS display on this model instead of current TN? In other words, does this laptop potentially support IPS , or where can I learn about it?
