Hello!

I have an HP Laptop with a Ryzen 4500U APU that's slowing down substantially when using the AC Power Adapter.

According to HWInfo64 the temperature for the CPU is 40° and 50° for the GPU. As soon as i plug in the original HP Power Adapter the CPU and GPU throttle down to 0.18 GHz and the computer becomes extremely sluggish. Also: HWInfo tells me that the Sensor for Thermal throttling HTC and PROCHOT Ext are signaling "Yes". I tried installing a new BIOS Version, updating the drivers for the chipset as well as GPU and setting different settings in the Windows Power Plan, yet still nothing changed. There is no sensor in the system seeing high temperatures, and neither does blowing a fan on the laptop help. As soon as the charger gets unplugged, the Laptop resurrects itself and performs perfectly fine. It's just when it gets plugged in, it INSTANTLY drops into Thermal Throttle Mode without increasing a single degree.

Anyone got an idea?

Thanks in adavnce.
