I have an HP laptop and a Lenovo laptop. We had both of them connected to an older TV via a KVM switch. Everything worked fine. We purchased a new 55" (I know it's big, but we have a similar setup at our other house) Samsung TV. I've setup everything the same using the KVM switch (HDMI cabling). The Lenovo works fine, but the HP does not recognize the TV and doesn't show an additional display. I even plugged the HP directly into the TV using the HDMI cable, bypassing the KVM, still nothing. I plugged the HP directly into the old TV. Works fine. For some reason the HP laptop does not recognize the Samsung TV. I've tried different resolutions. I've tried turning the laptop off and then on while connected to the KVM, with the TV on. Nothing. I've tried turning the laptop on, then the TV. Nothing. Is there anything that I can do? Thx.

Both TV's are the same ? If not, must be something to do with the TV, not machine. You may need driver of the TV for your machine
