Dear all,
I have noticed that my laptop screen displays colours different than the monitor I couple to my laptop. Below are examples. As you can see, the connected monitor displays much more vibrant and saturated colours than my laptop screen. Based on feedback I received, the view from my connected monitor is what most people will see on their computer/laptop/screen. The issue is that I can not always take an extra monitor while on the go, which causes difficulties when I need to edit pictures on my laptop, as I oversaturate my pictures when I work on my laptop screen.

My knowledge of computers is rather limited so any feedback regarding what could cause this or how I can resolve this would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Mieke

Hi, different monitors are equipped with display hardware that allows higher resolutions like 1080p and 4K video outputs which are very common among the new generation laptops and monitors, including television sets.
The reason why your PC displays a lower display output compared to the second monitor which displays higher is because of the quality of the display hardware on it.
You can work with the second monitor when you are at home and while you are mobile and working, save your file, and on getting the home plug in the second monitor and work just the usual way you would so you can do proper adjustments on the things that you create.
I hope this helps you out.
