I bought my laptop about one year ago (The original warranty period ended a month ago, but I extended my warranty period by a year). About two months back, I started experiencing problems with it. My display keeps getting black at startup, and after I wake my laptop from sleep mode. If I connect an external display, everything appears fine. I went to an hp service center twice and also got my display replaced, but the problem persisted. I am extremely frustrated with this problem. I did not expect an hp product to show such problems in such a short span of time. Indeed, I have not heard of any hp laptop display problems this early from the purchase date.
