Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought my laptop two months ago and I now realise that there is a pixel on my screen that is brighter than the rest. So I wondered if my screen needs to be replaced or not?

As annoying as it is, the manufacturing specifications likely allow for a single bad pixel or even a small number of bad pixels.

HP has specifications to which it manufactures its products, as do other computer manufacturers.

Whether the screen needs to be replaced is likely a matter of whether the screen meets the manufacturing specifications for the computer.

You have to talk to HP about this sort of issue.

Good Luck.
