Hi @vaishu777,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  1. When did this problem start suddenly or after an update / drop / other event?
  2. Does the laptop power on at all (fans spin, lights turn on)?
  3. Have you tried connecting it to an external monitor to check if it’s a display issue?
  4. Is there any beeping, blinking lights, or other error indicators when you try to power it on?

Troubleshooting steps to try

1. Perform a hard reset

  • Unplug the laptop AC adapter
  • Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds
  • Reconnect the power and try to turn it on

2. Check brightness and display

  • Try pressing Fn + brightness up or Fn + F4/F5 (depending on model) to ensure the screen isn’t just very dim
  • Connect to an external monitor to see if the laptop is outputting video

3. Test power indicators

  • Look for charging lights, keyboard backlight, or caps lock lights
  • If none of these turn on, it could indicate a power supply or motherboard issue

4. Disconnect peripherals

  • Remove all external devices (USB drives, external mouse, etc.)
  • Try powering on again

5. BIOS / Firmware reset (if possible)

  • Some HP laptops allow a BIOS recovery:
    • Press Win + B (or Fn + B) while powering on
    • Follow on-screen instructions if recovery mode appears

I hope this helps.
