Hello, I've been having a problem recently with my over a-year-old laptop, whenever I plug it in, the whole laptop starts lagging, and any game that I had open will quit and animations, when I hover my mouse over them, will not start instantly. For some reason though, my laptop works fine when not plugged in.

I have also noticed that sometimes I will have a blue screen of death with the stopcode DPC-WATCHDOG-VIOLATION when my laptop is lagging, I am not sure if it is connected to the issue though.

I have tried to change my power plan, test and calibrate the battery, and restart my laptop.

Please do assist

Hello, it seems that the problem is unfortunately still present, is there anything else?

This could be a <technical problem> which was not detected by HP Diagnostics.

My options are exhausted...

Recommendation and solution

HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support for service repair

HP warranty expired:

You should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.

Kind regards
