HP envy m7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Sometimes when i move either my entire laptop or just the screen it will go black for a second before coming back on. Would this be a hardware or a software issue? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the HP Support Community @dakota011

Facing the laptop with the power-on and booted:

Hold the top Left and Right corners of the display:

Move one forward about a 1/2" to 1" and the other side to the back about 1/2" to 1"

This is called a "FLEX" test.

Does the screen flash???

If you flex just the screen as described above does it flash then???

No movement of the laptop just the flexing of the screen!!!

Sounds like something in the base is loose or has a cold solder joint???

Are you still under warranty???
